This phrase is included in a document on how to protect email accounts. The full sentence is "La malveillance et l'indiscrétion internes, rendues possible par abus de comptes à privilèges".
I am confused by "comptes à privilèges". What would make sense to me is "misuse of account privileges" but this doesn't seem to be quite the right translation.
My only other thought is that the à should be an et - accounts and privileges.
Am I missing something?

Many of these systems are not within a Windows domain and by default allow simple username/password pairs to log in."

: no need for this kind of silly euphemisms used to avoid bruising sensitive junkies' ego - these people are plain and simple abusing accounts they shouldn't be accessing ...
