| Thanks, I got this too - that is is a form of Mengenrabatt. But if I used "volume discount" on a quotation, surely non-German speakers would not get the idea that it is bound ot signing an order... There is mention of a Wiederholungsrabatt too - frequency discount. It looks like Inge's "time discount" hits the nail on the head, since this includes both signing the order and paying before the service is carried out.
