How about Plant code system (have just found Power plant code system (for Kraftwerkskennzeichnungssystem) in the TM)?? although designation would fit better

It appears that AKZ is the abbreviation of "Anlagenkennzeichnungssystem", but I cannot say for sure because there is no context. Thank you in advance!

Michael, please give us more context. It is hard enough to answer some of these questions if there is sufficient context, but abbreviations are even worse. IMHO, "labelling" is not the right choice of a word.

Since you are looking for a similar abbreviation, I would suggest the AEI = automatic equipment identification. Here are two of many examples:

I am reluctant to use the word "plant" because this could be mixed up with a similar system used in microbiology.

I suspect in your context the KKS Kraftwerkskennzeichnungssystem is what is meant, if it refers to power plants.
