More of a generic term to describe those who are retired but not sitting in a rocking chair on the porch.

I've seen a few references to "Third Spring", but they are all translations of the Udo Jürgens song.

I would avoid going "cute"; e.g., Silver Foxes, Grannies on the Go, or the like.

there are those that think it's crazy for a 62 year old to circumnavigate the country alone on a motorcycle, but I think they mostly wish they were as crazy as me. Others have said this trip plus my first tattoo prove that I am going though my second or **third adolescence**.

Another option, although I'm not at all sure that the term is current in English, and it raises the question of when you have your second youth -- perhaps when you emerge phoenix-like from your midlife crisis (new career, new spouse, new car, etc...).

the term: "dritter Frühling" is not really common in German, it seems to be a superlativ of the proverbial "zweiter Frühling". Zweiter Frühling does not neccessarily have anything to do with retirement or the golden years, it means the rediscovery of the joy of live and is therefore often connected to the midlife crisis.
The text above however clearly adresses retirees as its target group and promises to help those who do not want to rest with another rediscovery of the joys of life for which they didn´t have the time so far. The translation of "dritter Frühling" should therefore be something that reflects the notion that retirement can be a chance to start new things like the "Golden Years Reinvented" or "Retirement 2.0" for example.
