I'm translating a press release for a hotel about the digitalization of their booking form, and I'm so confused by "abholen" here - why would you collect a guest after their stay?
Vergewissern Sie sich, dass sie in der Planungsphase, während und auch nach dem Aufenthalt ihren Gast dort abholen, wo er ist.

I would say something like "meet their needs" or "meet them where they are in the process" or "address the situation that they find themselves in" depending on the context.
It seems to talk about providing a service to the client or guest not just while they are staying at the hotel, but also before and after.
Just simply "help" may also work. I think this is usually expressed as wo er steht and not wo er ist.

Meet your guests where they are
This is an actual expression in English and would seem closest to the German of the (good) suggestions so far. For me it helps to think of "abholen" as used here as the counterpart to "ankommen" in the sense of "lass mich bitte erstmal ankommen", etc., which I'm sure most are familiar with and is used to mean to take a moment to get settled, get your bearings, "ablegen" (another useful expression missing in English!), etc. And there are tons of examples of "meeting your guests where they are" online.
Example sentence:
"In order to meet your guests where they are, hoteliers can no longer assume they know what guests want from their stay."

I also think Ramey may be wrong in saying it has nothing to do with picking people up: the idea seems to be you go to them, rather than making them come to you.
