Context: a cardiac catheterisation report from Germany, appearing in multiple sections, including:
"Bypässe: RIMA zu 1. MA ab"
"Koronarangiographie: LAD: proximal diffus verändert, mittelgradig bis zur Herzspitze mehrfach. 1. DA ab"
In the second of these two examples, I am wondering if the punctuation is misleading. It has been reproduced exactly as shown in the source text.

Could be Abgang, although I would expect it to be capitalized.
