German term
Verum-Depot-Dragée
German to English
Medical
Medical: Pharmaceuticals
Obstetrics
There are three groups of patients in this trial. One group receives a (coated) tablet containing a placebo, the second receives a tablet containing one of the active compounds coumarin or troxerutin and the third group receives the trademarked tablet that combines both these compounds. It is the trademarked tablet that is being referred to as the Verum-Depot-Dragée.
How do I express this in English?

study drug (coated prolonged-release tablets)
...I would put it that way:
study drugs = Verum
prolonged-release = Depot
coated tablet = Dragee
