movement data
Here, since it is dealing with cellular telephones, I would think it applies to the position and movement of the individual phones from cell to cell.
See the link under "Cell" where it states:
... By controlling the transmission power and the radio frequencies assigned from one cell to another, a computer at the Mobile Telephone Switching Office (MTSO) monitors the movement and transfers the phone call to another cell and another radio frequency as needed.
My thought from the USA.

This term is commonly used in e.g. SAP. I provide two sample links for DE and EN

Update:
If just the actual movement of people is meant, then "movement data" or "location data". Cf. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/7433128.stm, which uses the latter. I think "movement data" is just as good though. This link uses it for an academic paper: http://portal.acm.org/citation.cfm?id=1392120.

data movements
I would think this involves the movement of all sorts of data between source and target not necessarily involving specific transactions
