マニュアルを作成しています。作業手順書は「operation manual」にしているのですが、作業手順書運用となると「operation manual operation」でいいのでしょうか? 他に「運用」のいい訳はないでしょうか? よろしくお願いします。
Change log

Feb 25, 2008 02:26: Ruth Sato changed "Level" from "Non-PRO" to "PRO"

Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

PRO (3): KathyT, casey, Ruth Sato

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

この作業は「開発作業」ですか、それとも何かの「操作」ですか?それによって運用の訳語が異なってくるように思うのですが。

operation/implementation in accordance with the operation manual

This is really only a suggestion and I am not sure if this is accurate in the context. But if the translation "operation manual operation" is sort of hard to understand, would it be possible to add in "operation in accordance with the operation manual" or something to that effect. It may not be appropriate, but just an idea.

operation per the operation manual

"operation manual operation" is not wrong, but perhaps a bit awkward or vague. I think Tomothy's is appropriate. I just wanted to give another alernative to think about.
