Translation - English • You will be asked to visit the trial doctor for the first visit (Visit 1 – Admission into long-term trial). This visit will be done on the same day like the 24th week visit of study 27918. Initially, your trial doctor will complete investigations for the study 27918 on this day. The results of these investigations will be used like those of study 27918 for both studies 27938 also. But, investigations will be done only once. You will be required to undergo physical, neurological (nervous system) examinations, ophthalmological (eye) and dermatological (skin) examinations. This test will be additionally done (only in sites where equipment is available) for those who had undergone the ophthalmological examination in study 27918. Your body weight, temperature, pulse, blood pressure and respiratory (breath) indicator will be measured and you will be asked to get ECGs (Electrical tracings of your heart functioning) done. Your trial doctor will complete different questionnaires related to your Parkinson’s’ disease and you will be asked to answer some questionnaires and to get some examinations done by your trial doctor through computers. Blood samples (approximately 35ml or 7 small spoons) and like that urine samples (approximately 26ml or 5 small spoons) will be collected for laboratory examinations. Your trial doctor will review the treatment received by you and any negative reactions faced by you. After these investigations, your trial doctor will assess the issue whether you are eligible for this trial or not. To do this, she / he may feel like reviewing your clinical status since the beginning of the study 27918. If you are a woman in the fertile age, serum pregnancy test will be conducted. If you are admitted, you will receive the trial medicine and you will have to start taking it from the next day of this visit. Maximum time may be taken on this day of the visit.
• Along with an additional Ophthalmological (eye) test for those who have undergone this in study 27918 (only in sites where equipment is available)

This drops medicine may cause visual disturbances like prickly sensation or blurred vision or sensitivity to light. You may take cooling glasses and cap and no driving or/ and machinery operation should be done on the day of the eye examination. No other negative effects or inconveniences are associated with eye examinations.
