I started out doing volunteer interpretations and translation in Marshallese. During my double major in linguistics and Spanish translation from Brigham Young University I became a language instructor for the Marshallese language. After graduation I went on to study speech-language pathology from Massachusetts General Hospital (MGHIHP). Throughout this time I continued with small translation projects on the side to help support my career goals and for personal fulfillment. I currently work full-time as a speech language pathologist and enjoy doing review/editing and translation evaluation work as these tend to fit better into my busy schedule.
