Exacto Quiere decir que Manuel no se comportaba de forma habitual, en estilo directo sería "No era yo" (quien te tocaba, etc.).

Could be literal translation In the text, it is obvious that "Manuel" is a native speaker of English, and does not speak Spanish. Could this be a literal translation into Spanish of "this isn't me" or "it's not me," or "it wasn't me"?
