My guess... ...would be that it refers to vertical structures that are not actual buildings (i.e. for occupation) — you know, things like transmitter masts, water towers, and pylons of various kinds.

Probably the best solution would simply be to phone the company and ask!

It refers to vertical structure which is not solely building.
