Atropinise the patient immediately and maintain full atropinization by repeated doses of 2 to 4 mg at 5 to 10 minutes interval for hours together. The need for further administration is indicated by the continuation of symptoms. As much as 25 to 50 mg be required in a day. The extent of salivation is useful criterion to follow in adjusting the dosage of atropine.
