Relevant Experience
I have significant experience in the banking industry in positions that required, among other duties, to provide translation services. In particular:
• In my role as a compliance officer for one of the top three banks in the world, I have had to translate documents containing bank procedures and manuals from English to Greek. Furthermore, I was also required to translate reports in the local press (Greek to English) that contained information in relation to the Banks activities in the local market.
• In my role as a Risk Management Officer in a major Greek Banking Group, I have had to translate procedures and policies to non – Greek speaking subsidiaries including the UK and Australia.
• In my role as a trainer of a number of bespoke and off the shelf Credit Systems, I have had to translate manuals from Greek to English and vice versa as well as provide training in both languages |
