I have been self-employed for 8 years now and in these few years, I have diversified my activities from teaching, translating to interpreting. I have passed 3 exams, DPSI Law, DPSI Medical and CELTA but feels we always have new things to learn so I do not shy away from the newspapers, specialised magazines and other relevant CPD activities.

I am based in Nottingham, in the Midlands but am willing to travel if the opportunity is right. My main activity today is teaching but I have some spare time both for translations and interpreting assignments. I have worked in conferences (simultaneous/booths) ranging from European Work Councils, Business, technical (new products/cars/agricultural machinery) to Medical or legal jobs in court (hardly any since Capita took over the contract here in the UK) or with the police or even the Football Association. My interests are quite wide and as long as I am given some time to prepare...

I feel confident I can deliver the standards expected at that level. My mother tongue is French and my second language is English. I used to be fluent in German but feel quite rusty these days, so no, I would keep away from interpreting into/from German. I can consider some translation jobs but again, if the level is not too technical.

I care about the quality and will always do my best to deliver....which usually willbe the case. You can rely on me!
