I am not a professional translator, but have much local knowledge within both Polish and British cultures. After completing my doctorate at the Warsaw University of Technology and working in gas industry in Poland for five years I moved to Lancaster in 1989 and have worked here since. I teach in English, publish in top scientific journals including Nature and Science, at the same time keeping my Polish family connections and reading press and literature in both languages.
