I have a good knowledge of grammar and writing rules that meets the professional standard in the Japanese media industry since I had worked as a magazine editor in Japan before a freelance career and have been working with major publishers as a freelancer, so writing in a correct manner and detecting any errors are my basic work as well.

I always conduct a great amount of research during work about what I write/translate to fully understand the topic, the context and the background.

Of course, good communication is key and I will ask and discuss things that are unclear/concerning or contradicts the facts or logic when necessary.

My work doesn't end just when I deliver the translation or proofread files. If needed, I can also check the actual application of the translation on your website. Things like text layouts, line breaks, any missing parts  etc.

The Japanese language is very different from the Western language (in terms of the order of words, tone, business/casual difference and so on) and if you do simply "translate and replace", it doesn't always work as it's expected.
