Bio
I am a native Finn but my background is so international that I qualify - at least very nearly - as a native speaker of languages other than Finnish also. As a child I lived in the USA (5 years) and later in Germany (7) and the Netherlands (5). I have a PhD in Philosophy from Berlin's Humboldt Universitaet, and I studied also in Heidelberg (Germany) and Minneapolis (USA). My TOEFL score is 280. I have also written some books in English and these are available from Amazon.com.
I have enjoyed translation work alongside my teaching at secondary schools and universities through the years. Mainly my translation work has been for my mother's translation company.
Precision is my passion. I love working with languages!
