Bio
I have started translating fifteen years ago, after finishing my university in Italian and Spanish philology. The university program lasted for four years and one year for concluding your degree. I had to write a degree in Spanish and also a different one in Italian. For the first one I studied texts written at the moment of the Columbus discovery of America and the way he was seen by spanish authors of the period. For italian degree I analysed the work of Italian author from Trieste Claudio Magris, the Danube, a timely elegy for the lost Europe. At the beginning I worked for a while in editorial, where I hoped we would translate books. It didn't happen and I went on my specialization to Spain, where I lived for two years. I studied at the University of La Rioja and did research about lexical disponibility and which is "disponibility "of certain words; which that are most common and obvious to learn. My work was centred on the lexico of food and beverage and was part of the investigation in which were involved my professors on the University. Now I live in Italy in Gorizia (Friuli Venezia Giulia), so I mainly work from Italian and Spanish language to Slovenian. I spent also one year in Austria and worked for a marketing agency where I translated texts for the journal from German to Italian and Slovenian. I worked more for municipalities, regional institutions, companies selling their products and tourist operators. Beside translating I work as a tourist guide (italian, spanish, german, english and slovene language) and a language teacher. As a guide I usually study from history books and I am also most interested in. Also I worked for one Italian business company in Slovenia, so my mainly work was translating into Italian about computers.
