Languages are my passion and are part of my background since I was a child. I am a native Italian speaker, who learnt to speak and understand Arabic (Tunisian accent since childhood). At school, I have studied English and German (for at least 8 years) and specialised in Economy in High School.

During High School, I have achieved the B1 certificate in the German language through the Göethe Institut Zertifikation.

Afterwards, I have done my BA in Foreign languages and Literature at Bologna University, where I have achieved my degree in German and in Japanese. At the same time, I have also studied Spanish, which is actually my strongest language at the moment. 

In 2016 and 2017 I have achieved the IELTS certification with a B2.

In 2017/2018 I have achieved my Master degree at Swansea University (UK) in Translation and Interpreting. The master gave me a good knowledge of CAT TOOLS (such as Trados and Memsource). Furthermore, I had the chance to attend the "Business interpreting from English into Spanish" module, which helped me to improve my Spanish and the "Interpreting, Local government option from English into Italian". As regards translation, I have attended the "advanced English into Italian translation" module.

After that, I decided to translate as a volunteer for Ted.com and Translation without borders.
