Bio
My name is Solveig Jonsdottir and I am a 25 year old studying and living in Edinburgh. I finished my degree in Politics at the University of Iceland in June 2005 and moved to Dublin the following August for a bit of creative writing and general "arsing about" as one should.
I worked as a journalist in Iceland, for two separate food and wine magazines as well as the fashion/lifestyle magazine Nytt lif. I have also been doing translation work on the side since 2005. Workshop slides for the HR branch of Síminn, translation work for Nytt lif magazine from Eve magazine as well as volunteer translation work for ABC Childaid, to name but a few.
In September 2007 I moved to Edinburgh to start my MSc in Nationalism Studies at the University of Edinburgh and I am currently preparing my dissertation that will involve comparative case studies on Irish and Icelandic secession.
My translation work is accurate, prompt and guaranteed to be of the highest standard.
